History and politics are two subjects which have always been close to my heart. I keenly studied these during my time at university and could not imagine being involved with anything I enjoy more.
Working on the project is not only giving me the excuse to delve back into the history books but has also provided me with another wonderful opportunity....
Sharing my knowledge with the participants on the project is so rewarding. Knowing that their new open-minded approach will shape how they live their daily lives is a miracle in itself.
Many communities throughout Northern Ireland do not give a second thought to anything contrary to their own beliefs, watching this change before my very eyes is undoubtedly a step in the right direction.
This step should not only benefit the individuals taking part but communities as a whole.
The Holocaust is a chilling but fascinating event in history and having the chance to share the truth about what happened during this historical period is so far proving to be a very enjoyable and worthwhile experience. |
